Newtonmeters For The Con Rod

Hello,

 

i got 2 different essays about the conrod-bolts:

 

50nm

 

OR

 

20nm + 70°

 

what is correct? or is both the same?

i got an answer to this question:

 

20nm + 70° results in about 55nm

 

50 or 55nm does not hurt the conrod, both ways are correct.

 

only thing i noticed: when using 50nm, wait one minute and try again with the same force because of the oil normally used when placing new bearings, it will be pressed outside, thus decreasing the force of the screw again.

 

after 2 or 3 rounds with 50nm, the conrod is fastened.

Was waiting for someone to answer the question since i would also like to know, but you managed to yourself <_< I think ill stick to the 20 + 70degrees as i have always done.
