Engine Possibilities

Need to work out the finer details of the 1800 engine and ive given up on searchin as ive been doin it for hours now!!

 

I cant find the piston protrusion if any on an GTi6 XU10J4RS engine to get the 10.8:1 CR, i need to know this so i can work out what protrusion i would need to make 12.5:1cr with the 1800 MI block!?

 

Also how do you take into account differences in bore sizes, XU9J4R will be 83.5mm but surely the combustion chamber of the 6 head will be 86mm, how does this effect when it comes to combustion chambers and mainly what to do with headgaskets as you need it to seal on the 83.5mm liner bore AND the 86mm head cc bore?!

 

Im looking for the highest CR possible and have been told 12.5:1 should be suitable at a max...any ideas?
