If i get essentric top mounts will any strut brace still fit on the top of strut, or will i have to get a strut welded to

the sides of the inner wings ?

EDIT, also il be having top plates welded on as well so the bar its self might not let the bonnet go down

fully, if so il get a automatic one if thats the case...

Will still fit assuming the top mounts use the same holes.

Unless it's a very radical design, can't see why they wouldn't.

Spiky

eccentric <_< top mounts fit underneath, so doesn't affect the strut brace at all

i have plates on mine too, and they did catch my fibre glass bonnet, but fine now

Ok spiky, iv seen them go on top, the alloy ones that make the suspension give more neg camber, they usually

have holes all around the circumference so you can change the camber more or less.

Which is the best way to fit them ?

or am i getting confused with the rubber top mounts, do you have any pic's, as i'm going to be getting some off

high flow heads soon and he don't supply pic's.

Cheers

EDIT, I found nothing after searching for essentric mounts on this fine forum...

Have a look at Spikys build diary especially when it comes to ride height.

I assume you are using Bilstein/Leda or Gaz coilovers?

will fitting eccentric mount plate on top of the strut giving too much unnecessary high pressure on those 3 bolts and nuts? ;)

turret is supposed to hold the shock in place not the bolts and nuts right?
