Are These Marks On My Discs Normal?

Whilst changing a coolant pipe on the drivers side, I found some marks on the disc. I was about to bin the disc (& pads) when I had to fill the gearbox oil and noticed they are also on the passenger side disc.

 

I don't recall the marks being there when I fitted the disc So should these marks be there?

Yeah there supposed to be there,they are wear indicators,some makes of disc have them

yes, they are brembo standard replacement discs, one will be 0.5mm deep the other 1mm deep on a standard 20mm pug 205 disc.
