Tensioning Cambelt

The book of lies says that I must use a special electronic tool for this.

 

I've done it manually but am not sure how much tension to put on it. Any ideas?

just the usual 45-90 degree twist on the longest run of the belt without excessive pressure has worked fine for me

as long as the pins slide back in nicely you shouldn't be far off
