Brake Compensators

Recommended Posts

steve031286

hi guys, just fitted new brakes, master cylinder and compensators and brake lines, any ideas as to why im getting a knocking at the rear, could the compensators be the wrong way round? i currently have the large union facing towards the calipers because i was told that the way it should be, dont understand why they are both knocking tho. never come across this before, cheers steve

i replaced mine last week and i kept the small union side towards the capiler. The large union was on the pipe that went to the master cylinder.

My cars a 1.9, so if yours is a 1.6 maybe theres a difference?
