Braided Brake Hoses

Fitted some braided hoses today, but they lack the recess at the union where they meet the ridgid hose, so the 'U' clip and the bracket in the arch is rendered useless.

 

Anyone got a good way to 'fix' them in place?

I bought braided lines from Miles and they fitted perfectly like o.e lines with the u shaped clip.

maybe thats why they where free!!!!!!

The normal GTi ones I;ve seen just have a nut on unless you;ve got some 306 ones which are plain

the goodridge hoses i fitted to my goodwood had nuts on them to secure them to the brackets.
