7x15 Inch Whells With Et12 Offset On Non Gti Shell

I have a good offer on some AEZ wheels. They are 7X15", et12. Will they fit my NON gti arches with 195/50/15 wheels on them?

I searched the forum and found a couple of answeres, but just want to be sure if they fit well.

May be some one has wheels of the same size on their cars?

I think it will be difficult as they will most likely catch on the rear. 1.9 GTI wheels (6x15) with 195/50/15 tyres catch on the back arches and will catch on the front if lowered.

 

195/45/15 tyres are better

195/45/15 and it'll till rub or if not be very close, dependant on the offset. The arches are much tighter on a non GTI shell. I managed to get 16x8s on but i cut the arch away (similar to a GTI) and fitted extensions. Looked mean
