Afm Air Inlet

Recommended Posts

dch1950

Hi all,

I am talking about the radiator end of the air inlet for the AFM. This is a plastic housing held to slam panel by 2 srews. The actual inlet is blocked by the black plastic insert of the grille. My question is, is it worth opening up the inlet (by cutting out the plastic ) and sticking a small bit of mesh/grille in it's place to keep the bugs out.

thanx

Dave.

No not really, the bonnet covers it anyway

Having run with and without a K&N which changes the intake location I can say that it makes no difference so the original position must be good enough.

Thanx for that.

I'd forgotten that the bonnet blocks it as well!
