What else is available?

I run GG 888's or AO48's but they seems to go off quite quickly(10 laps).

What will last longer?

Are Slicks the only option?

Really? You must be driving them very hard to make them go off that quickly! What compounds are you using?

GG 888's are the harder ones.

The yoko's are the harder ones too.

I think alot of it has to do with the way Knockhill is set up.

Almost all right hand bends to the front pass side tyres gets really hot really quickly.

Pressures are set about 20 cold rising to 30 when hot.

Have you got enough camber? Take temperature readings across the tyre and go from there.

IMO them tyre pressure are too soft when cold try 24psi all around i find this fine but do have over 2 degree negative camber.

the set up at the front is standard camber but runs abit more caster.

Might try 309 bottom arms.

Will try an extra couple of psi in the tyres too.

That will be your problem then, the outer edge of the tyre will be overheating no doubt. You'll be much better off with some extra camber, around -2 degrees works well with R888's. Start with 309 wishbones and you'll probably need adjustable top mounts if the cars at a decent ride height.

As regards to tyre pressures, it must drive like a dog for the first 2-3 laps if they're set at 20! I would set them like this cold for starters.

Nsf 24psi Osf 25psi

Nsr 26psi Osr 27psi

Then drop or add accordingly. Aim for 30-31 when warm all round
