Anthony 1,000 Posted March 7, 2009 Diesel and 1.6 GTi driveshafts are identical - in fact, with the exception of 1.9 GTi's and 1.6 GTi's with ABS, AFAIK all 205 XU/XUD driveshafts are the 1.6 GTi type All the TU models use a different driveshaft, as the inner spline is different to match the MA box.
