Ht Leads - Mi16 Using 106 Gti Coil Pack

Recommended Posts

miamistu

Hi,

I'm after a set of Ht leads to replace the orange Halfords ones that I have which have just broken when taken off the plugs. <_<

Don't think I can just pick up any old set though as I'm running a 106 coil pack.

My previous 4 were a mix and match set at the following approx lengths:

2x 80Cm

1x 55cm

1x45cm

The local halfords are all out of the orange shoddy ones and I'm not sure who do compatible ones.

Any ideas?

My Current ends look like this:

Any suggestions would be great :D

possibly GM 16v items, not sure if they'll fit the coilpack you have (which is also used on XU engines BTW)

Are you sure you mean a 106 GTi coilpack, as that doesn't have HT leads?

Standard 106 8v coilpack is a fairly generic item used on most 1.8/2.0 8v XU's, various TU's and non-PSA cars as mention above, and as said, Vauxhall leads are what you're after - Corsa 16v ones I know to fit and have used, but I'm sure there's others that would be OK too.

That's just a normal 8v TU/XU coilpack, and the advice above about Corsa 16v leads is correct <_<

You can't just plonk a coilpack on otherwise standard Mi16 management - you'll need to use something like Emerald or Omex.

For anyone reading this in the future, the Corsa ones do indeed fit and the Halfords number for them is HIL560.
