R1 Carb Accelerator/throttle Cable *how To*

Well after having a messy bodged up throttle cable i decided to do it properly as i had some time on my hands its a very simple thing ot make and this is how...

 

first off i removed the choke system as it has never been conected and i have never seen the need for it, i cut and drilled a small length of stainless so that it can be bolted in place of the choke mechanism, Twisted it through 45 degrees and then bolted an old style bmx brake caliper adjuster to the centre.

 

for a throttle cable i used a mountain bike brake cable, if your going to use this you will need to remove the throttle linkge and drill it out to fit the larger barrel. and its a bit of a pain in the arse!!
