I know this topic has been covered before but I thought I'd show you the restoration of my drivers seat.

Now to tell you exactly what I did....

I purchased a passenger seat to use the base as the bolsters on mine had worn. Then decided to use the whole thing as it was in such good condition.

After taking the driver seat out and removing the sub-frame both seats were stripped down the bare metal.

Stitching that had started to come apart over the years was completely unpicked and restitched.

The whole covering then fitted to the driver seat frame using hog ring pliers and new clip rings. (A lot of the old ones were worn and stretched). When it came to the bolster area I covered the metal frame the duck tape before fitting the foam to pad it a little and prevent it wearing through again.

To repair the cracks, scuffs and scratches in the leather I used a leather repair kit for Peugeot interiors.

This took a good days work and lot of sweet talking to get my Mrs to do the stitching but it was well worth it as it now feels like new.

What do you think of the end result......

bought the same stuff you've used after seeing your results, but I got grey for my miami's full leathers, hope they come up as good when I get around to sorting them out! bit of stitching to re-do on mine too, gf can't sew to save her life though

good work :)

Great result!

What's the leather repair stuff like to use? Does it look as good (or better) in the flesh as it does in the photos? Might have to get some for the 306 seats.
