Trick 1 Posted February 15, 2009 Does anybody have the bonnet pins installed on an auto bonnet? not sure where to drill through, as every place i seem to find, it clashes with a cross member on the bonnet.... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Tom Fenton 1,526 Posted February 15, 2009 I always install bonnet pins by using a hole that is already there in the headlamp panel, and using a 1" holesaw to make a neat cut into the bonnet bracing. This also means any upwards forces being resisted by the pins go into the strong bracing inside the bonnet. See pic. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
