Autosprint Mi16 Cam Regrinds

Hi everyone i am new to the forum,

 

I have used Autosprint in Birmingham in the past for engine lightening and balancing, his work was superb and very well priced.

I looked on his website and i see that he has a cam kit for sale,

It states:

 

Mi16-competition-solid profile with lifter convertors and shim kit -284° and 304° £385 reground exchange

 

This seams very well priced to me

 

I am just not sure how he manages to get those profiles out of re-grinds?

 

What are you thoughts?

Easy with a solid grind as you don't have to worry about taking too much off the base circle. The shim takes up the difference.

 

Beware that this will be a semi-finish kit. You will still need to get someone to turn or grind the shims to the finished size.

 

Seems like a reasonable price considering the work already done for you.
