Rear Beam Question

hi folks anyone tell me if a rear beam of an L reg bog standard 4 door auto is in any way the same as gti,can i swap toision bars over as my beam is seized on one side on ?the trailing arm

Have you tried a search on the topic? This has been discussed MANY MANY times.

 

1) Yes it is very similar, only difference essentially is torsion bars and anti roll bar

 

2) Yes you can swap your bars over.

You can transfer your GTi specific parts to the 205 auto beam to make a GTi-spec beam.
