Tips/how To Removing Door Seals + Tailgate

Hi All,

 

Stripping my 205 and someone on the forum want these seals from me. What;s the best way of removing them without damaging them. I'm guessing the rubber and the harder "leather" looking material come off as one piece?

It just peels off! Virtually no effort required

pull it by the hard leather bit though, else you will possibly rip the foamy part

ye, just start at the end and just try pry up with fingers, as stated, grab as much of the harder rubber as you can as not to rip the soft rubber. its not ideal weather with freezing temperatures, doesnt help.

just when you do get it moving, try not to bend the seals much behond their original shape, it makes harder to install in next shell.

when fitting either pick a warm day or borrow a hair dryer
