Where To Buy Window Seals

before I commit to buy from auto five does anybody know of anywhere where I can get rubber window and door seals that are cheaper than auto five ?

As far as i know, only Pug do the seals, so im guessing Autofive are reselling. Ive heard they do that with a lot of stuff, and are often more than Pug.

 

If they are non genuine seals, id be wary of the quality unless someone can vouch for them

Yes they will be OE parts and will be cheaper than pug.

I know pug will be twice the price so that is my last resort

If you're talking about the rear windows, the problem is that they harden and stop sealing so well, leading to a nice puddle in the passenger footwell.

 

I made a quick fix on one side which was leaking quite badly. Remove the seal and soak it in a bucket of boiling hot water, then carefully stretch it out. It's surprising how it restores the pliability. I refitted the seal with a small bead of silicone on the window lip and it hasn't leaked since.
