Supercharging 1.6 Using Mini Blower.

Anybody done a supercharger conversion? I've seen Mini blower's on e-bay going pretty cheap, just wondering if anyone's done this conversion, it shouldn't be too hard to run it off the auxillary belt, any ideas??

I've supercharged my pug using a E45 mini blower... Goes like a rocket, or it did untill the old £20 engine let go!

There is also a thread in the projects section, which I cant currently find.

The project has been going on for a while now... But I dont get to spend much time on it, what with now having a baby! Its just a couple hours here and there.

Any questions just ask.

If I had a working engine, I could get the car back working in a day.... ok maybe two.

Mad.
