Water Pumps

What is the difference between water pumps listed for the Xu9 / Xu5 8v, the XU10, the XUD and the XU9 16v?

I am after one for a XU9 16v block and this seem to be listed seperatley at a higher price.

the impeller depth and diameter varies, a lot!

 

there's also a shield part on many that makes up part of the belt cover.

 

many of the XU10 and XUD are shared, and the 8v XU's.

I've never put one next to the other, but I did know that the 16v ones have a cast in piece to form part of the belt cover and the 8v ones do not.
