2052006 10 Posted January 17, 2009 In the middle of fitting my new SBC struts. Have got the original Pug strut off. The piston on the new SBC strut is a lot bigger and so the original bump stop will not fit it. Do I need a bump stop on these new ones? Are the bump stops internal or something? I can't see how they'd fit, and the new SBC kit didn't have any bump stops with it, so I presume they are not needed. Can anyone confirm before I fvck it up?! Super Josh 4 Posted January 17, 2009 These are Bilstein 'inverted' dampers, and as Toddy said, the bumpstop is built into the lower part of the damper I have just swapped my standard suspension and put the SBC kit back, has made a hell of a difference Josh
