  • Short Description My 2nd GTI bought to turn into a trackday car & developed over a few years.

    Now parked up getting turned back to a standard 1.6.
  • Car Type / Usage Car currently off the road
  • Engine & Gearbox Returning to a Standard rebuilt 1.6 GTI engine but as my trackday car had a lightly worked 1.9 engine on MP3.1 on a 1.6 gearbox with Quaife atb diff
  • Suspension & Steering Returning to standard from trackday spec of SBC Roadspeed springs on Bilstein B6 shocks with group N top rubbers.

    Rear beam refurbed with ZX arms Bilstein group N tarmac shocks, 20mm torsion bars, 24mm arb & BBm group A rear beam mount kit.
  • Brakes Returning to standard spec but previously standard size ATE powerdiscs, tarox pads & 1.9 calipers.
  • Wheels & Tyres Standard 1.6 Speedline alloys or 6 x 14 106 S2 Rallye steel rims on Bridgestone Re720 tyres for general use or Rota Attack 6.5 x 15 lightweight alloys with Toyo T1R's or Azev 7 x 15 alloys with Bridgestone S02 tyres.
  • Bodywork & Exterior Going back to standard but has an auto bonnet currently
  • Interior & ICE Returning to standard but in tracday spec has Sparco Ultra fixed bucket seats up front & no rear seats.
  • Comments & Plans Refit as standard & make a decision.
