Will A 306 Boss Kit Fit A Late 205/309?

Can anyone confirm?

I'm pretty sure they will, I know someone with a P1 grey steering wheel in a P2 405, and someone else has a P2 405 steering wheel in a 306

 

the only thing I can think of that may be different is the placement of the auto cancel tab and the depth of the boss kit.

I've put a 205 boss and wheel on my 306 and it fits ok but the auto cancel doesn't work.
