Jrod 7 Posted June 13, 2007 Yes that is the top one and it is from Miles off this forum, the lower one will not fit, you need a 106 one and to press it into your current mount. Item number 330128817016 for lower mount, it's ended but they relist often.
christopher 5 1 Cars Posted June 13, 2007 Does anyone have one of these fitted. Will it rattle the dash like crazy?? I have bad experiences from running a Magnex (drilled group N) bottom mount in a 1.
Jrod 7 Posted June 13, 2007 I have a full set and it's fine. When you start the car and it's a bit cold it rattles a bit when the idle is low and also when you open the doors they rattle a bit but other than that it's fine!
trogboy 17 Posted June 13, 2007 What's your idle like though Jordan? Are you not running a pretty much boggo TU3S at the moment and hence she's quite smooth? What do you think she'll be like when you've got you project engine in with the lumpy stick in it? Could I ask any more questions?
Jrod 7 Posted June 13, 2007 True at the moment it idles smooth, could be very vibey with the cam etc but meh! The gear change just feels SOOOOOOoooooooo much better it's worth it.
trogboy 17 Posted June 14, 2007 The gear change just feels SOOOOOOoooooooo much better it's worth it. No NO NO! - You're supposed to say it isn't worth it in a road car!
Jrod 7 Posted June 14, 2007 The solid alloy one would be a bit to much on a road car..... or would it...
djinuk 2 Posted June 14, 2007 is that a good price then for the group N top mount, as i need a new one asap , and may as well go uprated, should i replace any more at the same time,
