Tom Fenton 1,524 Posted January 30, 2022 I’ll warn you now that the sound quality from the Clarion unit is in modern terms s*ite. Plus the one pictured isn’t actually a correct GTI head unit anyway. Personally I own 2 Clarion and a Phillips standard head units but run modern Sony head units in the cars. Should I really want to I can reinstall the originals in minutes as I have bought adaptor looms and haven’t cut any original wiring. But I like having music I can hear and being able to play from my phone rather than being stuck with cassettes and crap sound. Just my opinion but save your £26.
