Arthur 10 Posted October 26, 2021 Hi guys. I'm a bit confused. Refitting my GTI instrument to my 1985 non GTI I can't seem to get the battery light working as should, and the alternator is not excited either. It worked fine before, but I forgot how I connected it. The guide's saying wire 33 should be the 12V + but Haynes doesn't seem to agree. Scheme tells me it should be 32? Does the alternator get excited though the instrument 12V + to wire 7A normally? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
