Hi Guys my first post, hope i'm in the right bit !

i've just bought a 205 GTI that has had a XU10J2TE swapped into it.  i'm completely new to peugeot stuff so bear with me.

Its running the old 405/406 ecu and loom its a-bit of a mess and going to be a pain to do anything with. so plan to use standalone management.

I need to know.

is the trigger pattern 60-2 ?

are they hall or VR crank sensors?

and what is the crank sensor offset ?

thanks Andy

yes,  cant remember, and 114 degrees springs to mind.

crank sensors for the xu are magnetic 3 wire, i.e 2 in/out and shielded.

yes it's physically 114º but depending on your software you can be a lot more creative, as 114º is a long time before the first ignition event. For example, a 48º trigger with a tooth offset of 11 gives the same thing.
