Mark Morley 0 Posted July 19, 2021 Hi all, Great time to get the roof off..only trouble is I need two bolts that hold the bracket at the non pinion end of the starter motor (P and Rohn) to the block. I managed to put these into a safe place, and guess what; not a scooby where they are. This is where I need your help in identifying the 2 bolt's size, thread etc. They're out of production and an awkward size so I can't order any. I've checked my PSA cd, and although illustrated, there are no values included. Thanks in anticipation Mark
SRDT 146 Posted July 19, 2021 It's the infamous M7x100 bolt size, they arn't listed for the 205 but somehow they are for the 309 and 405: http://www.miamistu.co.uk/pug/GB/309F/5/58A20A.HTM http://www.miamistu.co.uk/pug/GB/405F/5/58A10A.HTM
pug_ham 240 3 Cars Posted July 20, 2021 You'll be fine to use the car without this bracket fitted, I took it off mine when I did a starter years ago & have never refitted it because the replacement starter had a smaller body without any problems. g
