Found a old photo of my 205 and noticed something.

During the lock down i was scanning old photos into digital format, and i came across a picture of a 205 1.9 which i had in 1998. I had completely forgot about the Peugeot Lion graphics on the sides. I am now curious to know if that was a factory option at the time?  because i have not seen this on any other Peugeot.
