Hi, how are you doing? I am speaking to you from Argentina, I have a gti with a healthy xu9, the idea is to build it turbo but as the first phase is to leave it with 225 hp or more, but I heard that the xu9 do not hold much pressure, and here in Argentina there are many people who speak without know and they told me to use the xud9 block with the pistons, connecting rods and the xu9 stork, the pistons would be forged, I clarify when in doubt, I would like to know the opinions of those who know, Thank you guys

I finished an XU9 alloy block with standard cast pistons and lowered compression, roller bearing GT25 turbo, 252bhp. Its very possible.

the xud block is about 11mm taller so that would not work, you would need longer conrods.
