Ren89 0 Posted January 27, 2021 HI, The courtesy light on my 205 gti has stopped working, i have checked the bulb and that's not the problem. Has anyone experienced this before or can help on how to go about finding the problem? bacardincoke 42 1 Cars Posted January 28, 2021 Before you start to remove the roof gubbins have a look at the plunger pins for either of the front doors (near the door check strap). They should work independently of one another, so if only one doesn't activate / deactivate the light while the other's in the off position it'll probably indicate there's a problem there. If neither works it could still be the cause of the fault, just that both are faulty - I found both of mine had an intermittent earth because the retaining screw into the bodywork needed to be in a very specific position to complete the circuit, a new screw sorted it each. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
