Where to get driving light reflectors?

Recommended Posts

Canadian dave

Was hoping to just chrome paint the reflector buckets in my driving lights. But as the picture will show, I'm not sure that's going to be an option. The rest of the light is in good shape, just need new bulb holder/reflector buckets. Anyone else managed to track any down new?

failing that I think the denji reflectors may fit, probably the only part of those that does fit a 205 properly!

Hi Dave, see these photos. I sprayed with chrome paint. My right main reflector and the driving light reflector had the chrome layer flaking the same way, and I am happy with the reflectors compared to the good ones on the left.

Sorry, I rushed through Vernon when I went for work and did not contact you :-). Was not driving the 205 anyway, just a work TDI...

Are the glass lenses the original SIEM and worth saving?

This eBay seller (who's nothing to do with me) is offering re-build kits of various components... look to be Denji, but if you're stuck might be worth a punt at less than £20.00 posted within the UK for a pair?

I'd keep the original glass and backing if you have it intact, I have a box of them to rebuild at some point

I kept the original backing fixing wiring and glass and just used the reflectors and bulb holders from thr escortbuffy ebay site.

Plug and play and fit perfectly, I would add some sealant but my gaskets were reuseable,
