Ginerbolox 0 1 Cars Posted October 4, 2020 My little pug has just started getting a slight leak through the sunroof. The car is a 94 1.7d junior. The sunroof is a britax pop up type. Can anyone tell me if it has drain holes and we're they are located? Cheers Giner.
stewal 7 Posted October 6, 2020 I am guessing that maybe aftermarket in which case there will be no drain holes. its likely to be a perished rubber seal. Some of the aftermarket ones had a means of increasing the pull down force in the handle mechanism so might be worth a look there.

No they are factory fit, the handle is also arranged for left hand drive and is awkward to use in right hand drive. I have 5 cars with the same roof, they all leak, I tried a new seal that also leaked. I asked the same question and got no replies. I gave up and took the glass out masked it off and put a whole cartridge of sealer on the rubber, cleaned up the excess and now none of them leak. Do that before your floor rots away. Every single 90`s 4dr diesel I have or had, has a Britax pop-up with a LHD handle. The thumb catch works for the passenger not the driver. There are 6 of them on my drive or in my garage right now, all were fitted as original factory equipment, 3 are juniors and 3 are Mardi Gras.
