Insecure headlights (mot fail)

Does anyone have any tips on how I can secure my head lights for the MOT not sure why they are so loose but the headlight set up just seems weak on these :/

Sorry if that was a bit vague they are bolted and clipped in place the just wiggle about a bit in the up and down direction. Was thinking maybe put a thread insert into the plastic adjuster bit but they seem to be working fine.

Ignore me, it's, cos it's an aftermarket light and the bracket hinge that connects to the ball joint is flopping about. Original one is fine different design.
