205 PAS with supercharger question

Recommended Posts

How would I go about retaining the PAS on my gti6 converted 205 if I was to fit a lynx supercharger? Obviously the 306 PAS pump relocates to the ac compressor Fixing on the block /sump but then the chassis leg would be in the way .

Any way round it or rip it all out and have no PAS?

I personally run with e Pas on my 205, this is something you could change to (from Saxo vts or 106), or a fully electronic steering column from a corsa

As said an electric driven hydraulic pump, or an electric column is probably the way to go about it.

I run the 306 pump at the bottom, as per the set-up in the Lynx installation instructions.  The chassis leg doesn't get in the way.  I have chopped out the lower cross-member though - that may have given me a bit more room, but I had to do that to fit the rad/intercooler combination in anyway.  Nevertheless, it is all very tight in there...

Thanks for all the advice. Appreciated. As long as it’s do able then that’s a problem gone.
