Bootfloor cross rail & stiffeners

Recommended Posts

I'm realising I need more parts to sort the structure out.

Are the stiffeners and cross rail highlighted below available or long since NLA? My initial search suggests the latter.

Generally it looks like I could easily get these laser cut and formed, but thought I'd ask before reinventing the wheel.

Thanks,

I think you are in luck . In the attic of doom the other day I came across these exact two parts

I know that feeling WP! My kids would likely ask me if this car was made 'in the olden days'

The cross brace is a no-brainer as what I have is pretty poorly, and it's spot welds are swollen - it's a definite replacement.

So, I've been in and out to the garage trying to figure the floor stiffener part out. I'm actually needing the 'inboard' piece if that makes sense. I think I'd probably be better making a repair section from 1.5mm to sort that aspect.

If you'd like to sell the cross brace, let me know. Feel free to drop me a message.

Thanks,

Brian
