Oil connection on xu10 block

Recommended Posts

Can I connect the 205 oil separator/fill pipe to the connection behind the stater motor rather than using the one beside the oil filter? I'd like to swap the blank cap iv got to the bottom one and use the top

That hole is directly into the oil gallery. It's used for an oil pressure switch, turbo oil feed etc.

sounds like the standard oil breather port that the 16v engine uses, they use the main large one on the front as well.

you really don't want the fill point there though, its so small!

The 25mm pipe fits on it same as the bottom one?

This is what I'm hoping is going to work

That little filter will blast oil out everywhere, it’ll need to go to a catch tank or back into the inlet

I’m not sure how you’d know that when you’ve not used that set up yet but ok
