Xu10 oil cooling options

It's there a good option to fit a heat exchanger to the xu10? My cooling fan is behind the radiator and there is nowhere in the air flow for a oil cooler. 

 

Iv also been thinking about putting an oil cooler Infront of the drivers wheel and have some electric fans switched by the output on the emerald ECU

the original 1.9 oil to air cooler should fit fine, sits in the standard fan cowling, block threads use the same adapter

or if you want to use a heat exchanger there are a few oem type top hoses which will fit the xu10 heat exchanger i believe, may need the relocation type takeoff pipes and housing though.

Iv got the intercooler in front of the radiator or it would have been easy

 

Would the 309 system work ?

angle of the top hose connection is different on the 309, don't know if the o.d is the same either, a 205 item with the pipes extended to reach the xu10 heat exchanger would work.

 

that wont really bring your oil temps down a huge amount given your radiator is blocked by a big intercooler.
