Gripper vs 3J Driveline Plate Diff - For Circuit Car

Recommended Posts

SweetBadger

Hi All,

The 205 I bought to replace our crashed race car has a brand new gripper diff in it.

I already have a 3J plate diff from the old car setup for circuit racing, just wondering if it'd be worth getting the gripper diff set up for circuit racing and selling the 3J?

The gripper diffs are more expensive to buy new - anyone know if  there's notifiable difference / improvement from the gripper over the 3J?

Thanks.

I'd opt for the Gripper. Amazing bit of kit!

100% keep the Gripper. We have had three 3J diff's in the last few months,  all with the plate splitting through the main diff casing!

Gripper it is!

Will be coming out shortly and heading to Miles to get checked over and set up.

Thanks.
