Can you use a8v head gasket on the alloy 16v? I see that 8v ones are 1.3mm thick, and 16v ones are 1.5mm.

If they are interchangeable, the 1.3mm one can be used as a poor man's method of increasing compression to ~10.6 on D6C ?

standard 16v gasket is an 8v repair gasket.
