Fan switch, replacement 3 pin wiring harness plug??

Recommended Posts

Hello guys,

The 3 pin plug from the wiring harness to my fan switch is causing an intermittent problem.  The pins in the female plug have become heavily corroded and therefore the fan only works if you physically hold the plug in a certain way!!

Could some one tell me if you can get a replacement 3 pin plug? and if so where from? Or is their a better method of doing away with plug with a modern item?

Thanks for your help in advance.

You wouldn't be able to tell me which terminals and wire size I would need to make a new plug up with flying leads which I could then cut and solder into the loom.  Sorry for the  novice questions.

The terminals will be listed with the plug on polevolt . As for making fly leads just cut back to clean wire and crimp new terminals.

It's a JPT plug so you will need the correct crimp tool - also available at polevolt.
