What grade Oil to run the new engine in?

As the title says. What grade oil would be best to run the car in over the next month or so? Having survived the rolling road I'm going to change the oil tomorrow but I'm not really sure what to use.

It did all its running in on the rolling road, just use normal 10w40 semi synth now.

I’d personally put 500 miles on it on a mineral oil, then change to fully synth.

Just recently done this after an engine rebuild. Ran on mineral for 500 miles then changed to millers 10w-50 nanotech.

 

i hill climb / sprint so needed to run higher temps, but would recommend millers as I noticed the temperature and levels hold really well after the oil change

so as stated on the other thread ive swapped to 10W40 - ill probably run it for 2 weeks (about 400 miles ) and change it again
