Guys

I'm tearing my hair out trying to get the correct CV boot for the driveshaft pictured. It needs to be tri lobal

. Does anybody know the part number please?!?

Be? It's for a BE3 gearbox

Only ever come across one like that once. I think you’ll struggle to find the right boot. It might be easier to buy a complete shaft....

indeed not seen one like that on a 205 before, they arent especially strong, the expert and boxer vans have them however with an ML box and a larger cup and shaft.

have you measured the effective diameter of the cup and the shaft?

206's with the 1.4 have them, I managed to get a factor boot the right shape but only after about 10 attempts!

Can you quantify in what way they aren't strong Welsh? As far as I can recall this driveshaft has been fitted ever since I bought the car 8 odd years ago and has covered circa 60k.

Thanks for the comments all. A boot has now finally been sourced

Three variations of them as it seems .. so one would need to do some measurement before order .
