Coolant temp sender to ECU bad maybe, resistance values on the site somewhere, test the resistance back at the ECU terminals.

When I've had one over fuel it has been the air flow meter. Also bell wiring from that back to ECU.

Checked fuel pressure?  Getting fuel on rail isn't good enough, you need to know it's under decent pressure.

What happens when you try to start?  Does it start/judder then die or does it just not combust at all?

It's possibly under too much pressure.

My check list would be

Check dist cap for corrosion to points and rotor arm

King lead condition

Air filter

Ignition timing

Plugs

Leads

Ignition amp

AFM

ecu temp sensor

Fuel pump pressure

Correct ECU

Correct injectors

Compression

Rarely do I get through the full list as you tend to find the issue is towards the simple end of the list
