Are these genuine gti car mats??

Hello, can anybody tell me if these are from the 205 gti? I have been told they are maybe from a mk4 golf? Any ideas peeps?

Sweet. Did they ever do a "luxury" version? What do they fit and look like?

The round clips on them are 100% aftermarket, there is nowhere for them to attach to in a 205. Genuine Peugeot mats don't have those and there are many other differences too.

 

The logo is definitely 205 GTI though, or possibly 309 GTI, nothing else used that font and certainly not a Mk4 Golf. You can always tell if a GTi badge is from another car because only 205s (and 309s) have the upper case 'I'. GTI vs GTi.

To be fair there are so many decent after market mats I wouldn't bother searching for original. Find some you like with the right logo,buy, fit, get dirty and enjoy driving.
