Cold inspiration

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I am Looking for inspiration on How to do a cold air duct/ intake on My GTI6 with std TB. I’ve put a cone filter straight on the TB lip nothing else.

Would you put a 90 degree bend on it in order to point the cone filter towards the front grille?

I am running out creative mojo.

Thanks.

I used a Mk2 vts inlet pipe, this has a 90 degree bend in it which means you can fit a cone filter lower down between gearbox and rad.I have fixed a bit of ally sheet underneath to keep the rain off it.

Track only.

Thanks mate. That’s a Citroën Saxo  Vts right?

Do you have pic of the bend please ? What’s the radius of the bend?

It'll be a Xsara VTS - same or similar part to the original 306 GTI6 induction hose that went between TB and airbox.
