Anyone know what these are?

So after leaving my gti stripped for somewhere between 1.5 years and forever I seem to have a couple of spare parts from the engine rebuild. 

 

Anyone know where these go ?

 

ive also painted the engine bay. Removed rust and treated. Had some cans of blanc mieje ow whatever it is called made up. Looks great. But should I be applying a laquer on top?  Looks a bit flat. 

 

Movjng house in a week so I better get cracking.

I think that second picture is the bar which goes from the ignition coil to the battery/mass air sensor holder.
