Rear quarter panel brazing query

Archie's mid life crisis

Hi,

I'm about to replace the rear quarter panel ony 205 with one cut out of another scrap car. I notice there are some brazed joints at the b-post and immediately below the rear tail lights. I'd be grateful to hear how others have separated these joints.

Has anyone had any success separating the brazed joint with a MAPP gas burner? It looks like it may be hot enough

Just cut it out using a dremel. Wouldn’t want to be introducing a load of heat in case you end up distorting the panel adjacent to the cut.
