Ride height measurement required please!

Hi. Just fitted allegedly standard 1.9 gti front springs and the car seems very high at the front! I have no wings on the front at the moment, so wondering if someone can give me a standard ride height dimension from the sill or a suspension pickup to the floor please?

If anyone can put me onto good reliable stock springs too that would be much appreciated.

Check the product number stamped on the springs and search online. Should give you an idea whether they’re the correct springs or not.

Have you taken it for a  drive? they do settle a bit even just after a short drive. But having said that i tried some standard original gti springs on car recently and felt it just sat too high.. The height was 360mm wheel centre to arch/220mm ground to sill, ended up putting the eibach 7001's back on which  drops it by 40mm.  Which is probably to low really but just couldn't face the standard height...
